Mark Your Calendar; Annual Sales Tax Holiday

State Sales tax holiday weekend is set for August 4th – 6th. During the annual Sales Tax Holiday, shoppers will benefit from an exemption of the 6% state sales tax and any applicable local taxes on the purchase clothing, shoes, school supplies, computers, printers, bedding, sheet, washcloths, and towels are tax-free. Not all items are included in the sales tax-free weekend. The tax holiday, does not apply to jewelry, cosmetics, eyewear, wallets, watches, furniture, and items for use in a business.
