On May 4, 2019 the Fox84 Initiative for Boys will host their Third Annual Fox84 Initiative 5K Fun Run/Walk. This event is to be held at Marion High School, 1205 S. Main Street, Marion SC, 29571.

The Fox84 Initiative for Boys is a mentorship program primarily focused on mentoring young men in Marion County. This event is designed to raise money to take young men on an exploration trip to New York City. Additional information about this program can be found on our website www.thefox84initiative.com

This event is sanctioned and sponsored by the City of Marion and by Danny White of RMS Race Management Systems. RMS is a USATF/RRTC National Race Certifier and a Certifier for the South Carolina Region.

This year, we anticipate over 160 walkers and runners along with vendors, food trucks and entertainment.

All registered walkers and Runners will receive a Runners Swag Bag, a super soft tri-blend t-shirt with race logo and a Fox84 Initiative 5K Fun Run finisher medal. There will be 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place medals for all divisions, to include medals and trophies for the overall Male and Female runner with the top times.

Participates are encouraged to register on-line at www.wizathon.com/fox84-initiative-5K/ (this will minimize long lines and wait time on race day)

• Same-Day Registration will begin at 7:30 AM
• The Walk/Run will began at 9:00 AM
• Awards for division winners will be at 11:00 AM

There will be performances by:

Hometown great and renowned vocalist Kathy Grice.

Other performers include The Johnakin Middle School Flippin’ Foxes and others.
