Grants make Marion’s money go further!

The City of Marion Grants Department researches and applies for funding sources that support the City’s existing and planned programs and projects, and tracks the implementation of grants received by the City. At any given time, the City is conducting the background work on two or three grants, applying for three or four grants, and administrating five to six grants.

State, federal, foundation, and other grants help the City’s limited resources go further. For specific information on a grant for which the City has applied or received, please contact the City Administrator at 843-423-5961.

The City of Marion does not provide grant funding to individuals.
