Congratulations to Mr. Richard Moody on received the Employee of the year, Bobby Jones received the Policeman of the year, Derric Ray received Chief’s award. Special thanks to Ms. Dolly Boyer received the Public Service Award. Mrs. Mary Batson was honored for her 45 years of service to the City of Marion. She began her career as City Clerk in 1959, and served the citizens of Marion and the City Council faithfully until her retirement in 2004. Mrs. Batson recently celebrated her 90th birthday and is the longest tenured living retiree of the City of Marion. Special thanks to Shelley White Sarvis and Phil Sarvis for offering to be the photographer for the night. Thank you staff at Woodhaven for an awesome dinner.
