June 2019 – City of Marion employees and many volunteers worked together to prepare the site at the Hike Bike Trail and set up for the arrival of Governor McMaster.  Thank you to our volunteers from FedEx, The Arbor Day Foundation, Azalea Garden Club, SC Forestry Commission, Sharon Richardson of Audubon, Daphne Garden Club and  Sylvan Cities, our City employees and the local and state officials who made this community event a big success.  We appreciate the time and effort of everyone involved.
