On June 6^th members of the SC Forestry Commission, the Azalea and Daphne Garden Clubs, Tom Mullikin and Cheyenne Cunningham representing Governor McAllister and City employees met to discuss the upcoming visit on June 15, 2019.  The South Carolina Floodwater Commission will hold its quarterly meeting in Nichols, SC, and will host an event that same day. The visit will include a visit to the City of Marion to help plant trees on the Hike-Bike Trail.  Also the City of Marion has been recognized as Tree City USA.  This is the City’s 27th Year as being Tree City USA.
