The City of Marion has been working diligently over the past few months to keep Marion looking beautiful. Here are some of the things that have been done in the past few months: • Edging sidewalks throughout the City – some haven’t been done in over 3 years • Trimming sidewalks • Trimming trees • Cleaning up the Hike-Bike Trail • Updating the Hike-Bike Trial Signage • Painting the Hike-Bike Trail bridge • Incorporation with Grand Strand Water and Sewer a sewerage line has been cleaned and painted • Repairs to sidewalks impacted by Hurricane Matthew • An individual has been cleaning up litter at all entrances to Marion from Hwy 76 to 501 • Incorporation with Coastal Oil cleaning up • City Hall Building Repairs The City of Marion is restoring our community back to the “Pretty Little Town” it is known for.
